TELEWIRE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. Is there a limit on the number of text or variables?
A. There is no limit on the number of text, however, there is a maximum of 999 variables per letter, up to 40 characters in length.

Q. Can we furnish special enclosures with the mailings?
A. Yes, but they are required to fit in a #10 envelope (with or without folding).

Q. How quickly do the Telewires get mailed?
A. Usually the same day, or within 24 hours, based on volume and time of day.

Q. How long can the messages be? What about Multiple pages?
A. For simplex printing, a maximum of 4 pages can be sent first class mail. For duplex printing, a maximum of 8 pages can be sent first class mail.

Q. Can you process letters for us on our stationary?
A. Yes.

Q. Can we receive a report showing all Telewires processed?
A. Yes, the best option would be to image the letters onto a CD.

Q. What format is required to transfer data to Telewire?
A. Word is the preferred method for text information. For all other types of information the following may be used; Excel, CSV, or TAB delimited, Logos, Signatures or Artwork must be in a TIFF or BMP format.

Q. How can we get the information to Telewire?
A. There are a number of ways to send the information. E-Mail, FTP, Fax, US Postal Service, or via the secure Telewire website.
